A little over 2 months 'til moving!

So, today Alan and I went and looked at some places with a realtor in Wheeling and Buffalo Grove. The first place we saw was awesome! It had a 2 car garage and was located near a quiet forested area that was very private. It was 3 stories with an awesome master bath. I think it was listed at $1595. I really wanna take it, but we're going to try and hold out and look at some others to see if we can find something for a better price. So, we'll see.

We have to tell the Nowaks in a week whether we're going to rent their place or not in Vernon Hills. We both really liked it, but it was on the smaller side and we're both not sure we see ourselves living in Vernon Hills. We'd bother prefer to live in Arlington Heights, but not sure we'll be able to find anything in our price range. It's all coming up so fast.

We both really like the realtor, Karen, that offered to help us. She really listens to what we want and is realistic about our cats and the prices. I was surprised to hear she could negotiate price for us. I didn't think realtors did that for renters. So, that's really cool. I think we may hang on to her card in the future when we are ready to buy something. She's awesome. She said she would look for more rentals matching our criteria. It's funny by the end of our time together she said she had a good idea of what we wanted and I'm confident she does. So, I'm excited! Hopefully we'll find something soon that is a place we both really like and is still centrally located to work, school, Metra, and doctors.
