What's Going On?

I know I skipped an entry last week, but there was just so much going on. Alan's mom and brother visited us last week and we finally completely moved out of our old place at Oconto. We had a lot of preparations to do to make the house somewhat presentable for our visitors.

Anyway, I feel like there's been so much going on lately that I figured I'd use that theme for my list. Here goes:

Thirteen Things Going On In My Life Right Now

1. My parents are coming in to visit this coming Tuesday.
2. We need to figure out what my parents are going to sleep on (We have no bed yet).
3. My mom offered to buy us a couch as a housewarming present, but we've yet to really search for one.
4. Alan is a candidate for a full-time music director position with a church. Second interview is this coming Tuesday.
5. I've been having weird injection experiences lately that make me wonder if somehow I've started doing something wrong. Even after Alan watched me I still had a problem. My GI's office offered to let me come in and show a nurse how I'm doing it so they can give me some tips, if needed. Knowing my luck, nothing our of the ordinary will happen.
6. Alan starts his admissions counselor position at the end of this month.
7. Alan's old job is posted on Trinity's website and Alan thinks I should apply for it.
8. We're still trying to organize this house!
9. Chloe jumped from the loft to the downstairs couch, which was basically our worst fear with having an open loft with cats. So, now we have to watch them even more closely.
10. Our bedroom gets hot and humid (even after buying an extra fan), so we're thinking of getting a dehumidifier.
11. I need a haircut!
12. We're STILL having issues with Aetna denying claims from my hospitalization in January.
13. I cannot help but get heat rash anytime we're outside in the heat.
